Well, this is different. I grounded Myron the frog/toad on an elegant 5x7 fall birthday card. Well, it should grab some attention, I suppose.

My brother's birthday is at the beginning of October. *Many* years ago, our dad used to take him into the mountains outside town in the spring to find a big batch of river frog eggs to bring back to place into our backyard pond. We had plenty of water lilies, gold fish, tadpoles (eventually frogs) to brighten up the backyard, until the fish were caught and tanked, the pond drained, and the frogs headed for the river in our town in prep for the winter. So, this card was inspired by this yearly tradition, with a little bit of humor provided by Myron.

I experimented for the first time with Tim Holtz Colorize dies, and with Tim Holtz Halloween Mica Spray Stains. Definitely need some more practice with these. Of course, I had to choose a project that required a little more thought and process. Eh, I'll get it figured out for ease eventually and learn from my mistakes. My motivation has been low, too, but that will work itself out. Overall, even though it took me a couple of weeks to build this card, I did have fun when I was working on it. On a side note, Myron got a belly button/piercing to hide the imperfection in the cardstock that demanded to be covered.
