A layout of my eldest receiving his National Emergency Medal this past July. Unfortunately I was unable to attend as I was sick. His sister took the photos for me.
He was given the medal for his efforts during the horrific fire season of 2019 - 2020.
He volunteered for 158 days that season and ended up in hospital with heat exhaustion at one point.
Thank God for the unsung heroes of our lives.
