Give a Cheer
Hi There! In addition to this book being made from envelopes, I sewed a couple envelopes into the signatures. That means I have a few envelope flaps to work with. This time I decided to turn the envelope flap into a double pocket.
It couldnt have been easier. All I did was line the inside of the flap with a piece of scrapbook paper. This both strengthened the flap and covered the glue on the flap.
Next I ran a line of glue up the middle of the flap and attached it to the prior page. Now I have two pockets one to each side of the glue line.
Finally, I cut two journal cards from the paper collection to fill the pockets.
