I needed a card for a friend who is feeling under the weather. I now she likes dogs and mice. The dog card has already been sent to her. So, mice it is. I found this Penny Black House Mouse stamp called Long-Stem Cuties awhile back and have only gotten around to using it. I pretty much copied the coloring on the stamp top image. I did add purple to the ribbon tie. I searched my scraps and found the papers and was going to leave the background white, but decided a purple would look better so I inked it with first one color, and then another of Distress Ink. In the process of tinkering, I had flipped the paper and managed to smash it into the remains of the previous ink on the other side. Originally, I was going to throw out my mistake, but realized it added a little interest to the background... thus all the extra purple scatterings. I DID also add the name of the person in my handwriting to the little tag after photographing it.
