For the May Scraplift the person before you. This is the new from Motherload.
Journaling- under the middle photo. It started out shaky- a four hour flight delay to get to Kansas City- ugh, but when we got there, we received a great welcome. Laura had suggested this adventure, and i was up for it. We were getting treated to some great crafters and a variety of crafting skills we would be able to use in the future. I confess I'm not a social person, but i totally enjoyed interacting with these women. Because of seating arrangements, people moving around, the space itself, I had no choice but to interact with different women throughout the weekend. I surprised and enjoyed myself. We were even invited to join another group for a crafting event in June.
I enjoyed this layout sketch so much.
Y'all. Have you been with 20+ women at one time with only two full bathrooms- for a weekend? Shared a bedroom with two other women? I didn't know how I would handle it- but it was fine. I truly surprised myself because I've become so spoiled. On the layout I included the welcoming pamphlet/itinerary and my name badge that the host provided. We also received a little bag with ear plugs, a scented spray for our pillows, night time mints, and even had eye masks availability. The included meals were divine! Janelle was a great hostess and I enjoyed this adventure so much.
