Beautifully done! Your finished panels are perfect, and worked so well with the bird die cuts. Like that you carried the theme through to the inside of the card.

Graceful Ocean Birds

I was looking for inspiration to make a card using Memory Box's Graceful Ocean Birds die set. I came across a card made by Dave Brethauer for Memory Box. I was drawn to the colors he used. Unfortunately, the colored panels were recycled and one of a kind. I decided to use his color pallette anyway and create my own version. I had a blue, watery looking digital image I purchased in a kit. I printed it on satin photo paper. I liked it, but wanted a greener look, so I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Kiwi. It added the green look and also gold speckling. I had leftover sequins from a mermaid project that were green and blue iridescent. Adding the gold and teal cardstock brought it all together. Sometimes a creative spark from another card maker and a little serendipity work together to make a really special card.
