For this card I started with a background I created using my gel plate and Tim Holtz Distress inks you can find that tutorial here https://youtu.be/lAy8REs04dg?si=bcd1GTUIVmoIRZJr
I added some stamped images to the background using Archival ink and stamping first on a scrap of paper then using the ghost print on the actual background. Next I stamped out my snowglobe/ crystal ball using Memento Ink then placed the skull down where I wanted it and stamped that. Next I made a mask for the skull and placed that onto the stamped image. I then stamped the what I like to call orbs or dots around the skull. I then stamped out the candle. I used alchohol markers to color in my images then colored pencil to give it some extra shadowing. I then used alcohol and a blender nib and lightened the ink where I wanted it to look foggy and then used colored pencils to add the fog. Next I applied a crackle medium over just the globe part of my crystal ball and set it aside to dry. While that was drying I colored and cut out my candle, I added some Distress mica crayon to it for a little shimmer, then fussy cut that out. I attached my background to my card base using glue. Now my crystal ball was dry I added some Distress Crayon to that working it into the cracks with a blending brush then lightly wiped the extra off with a damp paper towel. I then fussy cut that out. I placed the crystal ball in my stamping platform and added the Halloween stamp slightly curving it to fit the base and stamped that with Archival ink. I placed my images on my background and marked where my globe needed to be cut and trimmed that using my mini trimmer. I place foam tape on the back of my crystal ball and attached that to the card front. Last I added the candle.
