This was simple to make
1) Used mint scrapbook.com low adhesive around all four outer edges of the card to create a margin.

2) Placed a Gina K Designs stencil called Mandala Burst directly on the front of the card spraying it with Craft Pixie Spray (or you can hold it with your fingers) and apply light and dark purple dye to the card with a brush, darker along the edges and lighter towards the center, using small circular motions. You can use any lilac or purple shade you have but I used the Distress Oxides Villainous Potion and Shaded Lilac. with a touch of Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide in two opposing corners.

3) Lavinia Group Poppy stamp was used with Versafine Clair Nocture inkpad to make the focal point for the card. (Mounted it on an acrylic block but you could use a Misti or whatever tool you have. I'm really in favor of using what you have. So you could us any floral stamp you have and create basically the same look and feel. But I do recommend and cherish Lavinia stamps myself)

4) Finally I used Liquid Peals as tiny drops. Periwinkle and Petunia.

5) Finally peel off the tape from around the edges and you will see a clear white border which makes the card look professional even though it is handmade with love.

Alternate stencils. I considered using Lavinia GLORY stencil OR Feather Leaf. Both have a slightly similar look. My favorite for this card was the one I used Mandala Burst.

I considered using a Lavina stamp fox called Fox 2 Peri, but upon eying it found it too large for this A2 size card. (Imagine cutting a 8 1/2 by 11 white cardstock into four equal sizes, that is the size I am working with.) Lavinia stamp Field Grass was also larger and I selected the smaller Lavinia Orchard grass instead.

This card could be used for any number of occasions, a Birthday, a Get Well Card, an Card of Encouragement or Inspiration or even a card to a Nature Lover or Gardener. I love it in lilac and purple so much because it looks just perfect to me but you could use a light and dark shade of your favorite ink pads and create in your favorite color or your recipients favorite color.

Good luck making this! It's a ton of fun and simple to do! Thank you for your support.
