Threw the kitchen sink at these backgrounds.

I misted both papers with water before embossing. Both papers were inked then distressed lightly to expose more texture and a fresh paint surface for contrast.

The turquoise one has Mica sprays, Distress Oxides inks, die cuts, Cricut acorns, iridescent watercolors, Lotka paper (turquoise mounted on double sided adhesive), same Lotka paper behind the embossing. Opalites stamp pads - those are iridescent and show well on dark paper. And I am pretty sure there are some Foundry areas on this.

The orange one was similarly constructed. The letters were swiped through wet Distress inks. The back has Everything: Distress Oxide Sprays, Distress Mica Spray Stains, Distress inks, Distress Oxide inks. The white paper inset is mounted over a dark copper metallic piece of paper then mounted to the back of the window. Die cut leaves and letters.

With both of these cards, I did a lot of spraying with Distress colors and Mica sprays, then immediately spraying with water and rotating the papers to get the inks to move and mix.
