Hi There! When I need more than just a few photos to tell the story on a layout I print them in various sizes, then collage the photos together. Heres my process.

First I determine which photos are most important, have the most detail and/or tell the story best. Those are the photos that I print in the largest size, and second largest size. For example, on my layout the photo of the river and cascade of flowers was the view I wanted to highlight. After that the flower bridge itself and a sculpture I liked.

Next I pick out some photos with smaller details and print them the smallest. On this scrapbook layout I chose some of the individual flowers.

Notice that all the photos are printed with a white border. This gives each photo some separation and allows me to skip the step of matting each photo.

After all the photos are cut apart, I arrange them into one big collage. I like to have one or two straight edges, then fill in the gagged corners with embellishment clusters, journaling and the title. With just a bit of planning, I was able to put 7 photos on a single layout to tell the story of my visit to the flower bridge.

Happy Scrapping!
