This project was surprisingly exhausting.
The cover mainly consists of a sticker but the borders were hand illustrated to tie in the florals of the sticker. I couldn't just leave it alone at the red dots, but that really would have been just fine... lol!
Then I got it in my head that I wanted to do a pop-up card, inspired by the Xmas cards my mom is currently making (+a special Hanukkah card for me with a pop-up dreidel instead of a stack of presents!) I love that she's a crafter too, we inspire each other all the time.
Multiple rough drafts on dot grid paper, followed by lots of tracing and fussy cutting with my craft knife... only to mess up the first "final draft"... let's leave it at that. It's past midnight and I'm ready to pass out now!
