Hi There! Heres the companion layout to the one I posted at https://bit.ly/3ujjXtm Youll notice that the background papers are the same, as are some of the embellishments. This ties both pages together, but each of them has their own distractive look.
A double page spread is meant to be looked at as one big layout, however companion layouts arent. They are related, but distinct activities. For example, this layout is about a train ride we took at Clarks Trading post and its companion layout is about a bear show we saw there. Each has its own story, layout title and journaling.
These layouts will be side by side in my scrapbook album, so having them coordinate really makes sense. It ties the two events together, plus they look great side by side.
