Give a Cheer
I made this set of cards, using both the positive and the negative of this fabulous Whimsy Stamps word die. I cut the die from a matt silver cardstock and then from a panel which I'd ink blended with two toning inks and then did a watermark technique in the background. I stamped another panel with an Illusion Background Stamp from Whimsy and several toning ink colours. I finished the dark ink card with some lovely silver glitter snowflake diecuts and some snowflake and iridescent sequins. To the illusion background card, I added blue iridescent gems from This Calls For Confetti but I also have Pinkfresh Studio Stargazer Jewels which would have worked equally well. I added a strip of silver glitter cardstock to trim the panel before adding it to a top folding card base cut from Spellbinders Blue Spruce cardstock.
