Give a Cheer
To make this card I started by inking up a piece of mixed media cardstock. I then embossed it and trimmed it down and matted it to a slightly larger piece of black cardstock. I cut out all of my die cuts and used alcohol markers to color those in. The envelope I cut from vellum and assembled using double sided tape. I embossed the shadow layer of the Butterfly and inked the edges then assembled it. I stamped my greeting on my die cut then cut a hole in the top, I cut down some fabric tape to make the tab, then used some on the card. I used a fine-liner pen and gave the look of stitching to all my fabric tape pieces. I used some black flat pearls for the centers of all the flowers. The last thing I did was added some shimmer to the Butterfly with a shimmer pen.
