I'm a little late joining the BetterPress Fan Society, but honestly, I've wanted this machine since it was first released and it truly does not disappoint! I've created two cards with my first two tries using the machine. It really is 'fool'-proof! It's effortless to run through my Big Shot and the BetterPress Plate that came with the machine printed perfectly all three times I used it and from the very first print! I pressed 3 panels, one on each colour paper provided in the system. Today I'm sharing the two cards I created with the Pebble and Bisque papers. I used the Bisque for the red blooms and the Pebble paper for the pink blooms. Love them both! Scroll through to see the shimmer I added after watercolouring the designs. I wanted to add some 'dew' details, so touched the centres of the flowers, the rims and the central veins on the leaves with some sparkle pens. The red blooms were painted with Distress Mini Ink Pads and the pink were painted with Watercolour Brush Pens. I used Opal gems from Spellbinders to add a little bling to the pink card and Honeybee Pearls for the red blooms. I diecut both panels with a beautiful Whimsy Stamps rectangle frame die called Sprinkles Scallops. I cut an A2 toning base for each card from textured cardstock and then adhered them to a Neenah A2 Top Folding Card Base from SBC.
