Valentines Lovebugs made by Adrienne

When I was a little girl, one of the most memorable Valentines Day was a year when my mom had me create my own Valentines. She pulled out construction paper and showed me how to make a ladybug from a heart and a circle. Ive always wanted to recreate those little lovebugs but in a more elevated way, with Prima products of course!

I used papers from With Love and Love Notes, as well as the vellum from Miel to create these ladybugs. To attach all the layers, I sewed the papers together. Under the patterned papers is a heart of white cardstock that you can write your little love note on.

I decorated these little lovebugs with flowers, stickers, lace trim, ephemera, fussy-cut elements and crystals from the same collection. After they were assembled, I gave each a good splatter with some Metallic Pastel Accents watercolors.
