In December, we met up with long time family friends of my now deceased parents, and the 86 yo mother, now in assisted living, expressed a desire to learn how to make cards as she writes quite a few notes to remote family and friends. I put together a simple card making kit of A2 notecards, envelopes, two packages of rub on transfers, small scissors, glue, and reverse tweezers plus a variety of sentiments that I die cut from my stash. I visited her one afternoon to show her how to make a simple but lovely notecard. We had a great time!
