Whimsy Stamps have a fun die set that has several very cool elements in it and one of them is this mobile phone shaped die. I used it to create a fun bookmark to go with a book gift for a teenager. I used a lovely sky themed paper to create the 'screensaver' background and then added some 'text' bubbles with encouraging sentiments. I used the phone die 'upside down', so I could have button bit to punch through to add a string and charms to complete the look. So many kiddos have charms on their phones these days. The second picture shows the back as I decorated it, just with a bold but encouraging sentiment. I used eyelets from another die set by Whimsy to reinforce the front and back of the bookmark. Black for the front, white for the back to tone with the papers I'd used.
