On the "baby" tag and "bunny" letters I clear embossed the letters over versamark to resist the ink I dabbed on. Then I put mesh over the inked words and inked again...giving it a waffle-like inked look.
The 3 bottom tags are inked, and triple embossed with clear powder, then when the last layer was still hot I stuck a gold stamp (of a bunny butt) into it for a few seconds.
The mat is 3 layers of cardstock torn away from the center and tied with inked hemp (thanks Eighmie for the hemp!!). I also used gold mini-brads on the corners. I used brown mesh around the mat.
I enlarged the photo of the bunny and turned it to sepia, printed the journaling on vellum, and layered that over the photo.
Journaling: "Baby Bunny- As soon as I found out you were taken from a student’s yard, I knew your life was in danger. Wild animals should be left alone. But what was done was done, so my friend Nancy and I decided to take care of you as best we could since we both have pet rabbits at home. We fed you fresh grass and hay, and we even tried to feed you baby formula with an eye dropper like we had been suggested to do since you were so tiny. Nancy and I decided to take turns taking you home with us each day so we could take care of you. When I brought you home Bryan took an instant liking to you and was actually the first one to get you to drink the milk with the eyedropper. We let you out to run in our hallway, and you ran and jumped and played. We even got you to sit on my postal scale – you weighed 2.8 ounces. Unfortunately, the next day at school I got a call from Bryan that you weren’t going to make it. We are guessing you tried to jump out of the pet carrier you were in and injured your back. Bryan brought you in after school, and Nancy and I were very sad to see you go. We knew it would probably turn out this way, but were still disappointed that we weren’t able to help you. It was a lot of fun to play with you while you were with us though!"

I tried paper weaving on the bottom. I used 4 different papers. The big mat is wrapped with more inked hemp and the tie is a leather shoe string. There is a gold swirl clip holding another triple embossed tag (like on the first page). The item I needed to use - the plastic badge holder - is holding a matted pic of the bunny with gold mini-brads and tied with more inked hemp.
