These layouts were made in late 2002 early 2003. This is "My Mothers History". The is Page 2 of 2 of the Layout Spread - Page 1 is the Page before this. These are what I call My Grandmothers Forget Me Nots. Again, I just used patterned and solid papers to make the pages work together. Mostly just cut by hand, except for the left border I recall using special scizzors. There are a few stickers also, the mail bundles. On the top left is an old birthday card which does open up. Journaling under it reads: This is a cute little birthday card that my Mother gave to my Grandmother when she was a little girl. The bottom is something that my Grandmother wrote from hand. Journaling reads: The Bird and the Baby. What does the little birdie say in her nest at peep of day? "Let me fly, says little birdie, Mother let me fly away"! What does little baby say in her bed at peep of day? Baby says like little birdie, Mother, let me fly away. Under the baby doll my Grandmother had signed her name "Evangeline". Journaling reads: This was found in a homeade botto that Big Grandma had made. I do not know if the poem is originally hers, but she added her own embelishments of the bird and baby that coincide with the nice poem and signed her name at the bottom.
