This was a challenge for the KMA Top SCrapper contest. We had to scraplift one of their DT girls and I chose to scraplift Dawn Hagewood’s “One of the Best things” LO: http://www.scrapbooks.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=8472 I had a lot of fun doing a girlie page for a change.
I used rubons on the Heidi Swapp ghost letters, layering Doodlebug, Making Memories and Heidi Grace flowers and hearts. I also used rubons on the block behind the ghost letters. I added rubons throughout the rest of the LO as well. For the blocks of patterned paper, I altered it in some way: brads, buttons, seed beads, glitter glue, ribbon, hand stitching, etc.
Journaling Reads: You GIRLS…. Make me so incredibly happy! I will NEVER feel like I missed out by having two boys. You are ALL like my daughters and you make me the PROUDEST auntie in the world!!
Thanks for the inspiration Dawn!
