Cheer Up, There's Hope

The final photo from the Bob Hope Christmas Show aboard the USS Midway in 1972. Bob and two of the ''beauties''. The cartoon of Snoopy is taken from the Midway's ''Westpac Log'' : the cartoon says: ''Cheer Up! We've still got HOPE for Christmas. I hope the liason party warns Bob about how this crowd reacts to a pun.'' Below the cartoon: ''The peace talks have all but crapped out. We are scheduled for the Bob Hope Christmas Show in Singapore 27 Dec.''
