Love how you punched the holes... great idea! I also really like that you wrote part of the title yourself... and coloring the chipboard? Awesome! Great LO. :D
So simple, yet so Stunning!!! I love the script writing with the bold chipboard letters! The little photo corner with the punches is a great idea, too!
OMG, this is fabulous! I love the photo - they look like an old married couple sitting at the table having breakfast before heading off to work. I love the B&W it really sets the mood of the photo! It reminds me of a Kim Anderson photo! Great job!
The picture is worth being a postcard! I probably would make a poster out of the pic and put it up in the kitchen! Wonderful work and priceless picture!
First of all beautiful picture. Secondly.. that is a wonderful LO.. Love the black and white.. The title.. gorgeous and I love the polka dots.. so playful!! Great job Mandy!!
I have to agree! I just LOVE the photo~how precious is that! And I love the black & white, and how you staggered the lettering in the title. Into my fav's.
First of all this is going straight to my favs, and second of all it should be sitting at the desktop of someone at Simple Scrapbooks waiting to be published right now!! What a winner this one is!! LOVE IT!!!
Soooo precious!! Love the photo, so cute in their play roles. The black and white is fabulous! And like Pandy, it makes a tear come to your eye. They grow so fast! My children are not only grown, THEY have grandchildren!! Love it Mandy! Great layout! Beautiful journaling.
Ok, I absolutey adore this! It almost brought a tear to my eye since my little one is growing up just so darn fast! And my other daughter has a son of her own! Time do fly! You did this so beautifully! I love the simplicity of it, yet it speaks volumes. What an absolutely precious photo and an amazing layout!
OMGosh Mandy this is sooooooo endearingly cute!!!!! I love the simplicity of the dotted background with the bk photo and the three perfect things your wrote for the journaling. The markered chipboard looks fabulous and contrasts beautifully with the hand written title. Your grandchildren are so precious and that picture speaks a 1000 words in itself - they look like tiny adults. Adding this to my favorites.
DGS and DGD spending quiet time at their play table. photo taken in 2002. Journaling reads:" let's pretend you're really reading the paper, you're really pouring TEA, you're not growing up too fast." I inked around the edge of the photo and then wiped it to reduce the value of the line and hand wrote the word "let's" as well as the journaling block. The chipboard letters were colored with a black marker so they would be a matte finish. The photo corner lower right I made from a strip of the same black cardstock and punched lilttle holes in it so it would look dotted.
