I love the outlining of the shapes, the circles and using the striped paper for journaling. The chipboard title is great! The circle repetition in the pp, the stamp and the pp circle shapes really brings the LO together. It is a great contrast to the square tiles in the photos. Great job!
this is such a nice "boy" layout!! I really like the hand written journaling, as well as the chipboard. Love the g!!! I really like the use of white around the edges of the photos!!!
Wow! Love the circle with the journaling in it, very nifty, and the patterned paper is too cool. And what great photos, you've out it together so well.
Great LO! How much fun and he is adorable, I would suggest changing the middle arrow (middle from up & down direction) with the bottom arrow so that it reads easier as going...going...gone and with the Gone arrow pointing to the photo with his back turned. Other than that, great LO!
Your LO caught my eye on the page of 50. When I made it larger, I liked it even more. Now as I look at it a little longer, I see even more about it that I like! Great job!
This is a fresh take from the sketch. Bum-scoot! HA! Very creative use of the 9, btw. Great journaling. I like the colors, pp choice, and the shaky white hand-drawn frames of the photo. I'd like to see the Gone photo enlarged and switched with the photo on the left, since the former appears to be your focal photo. Then, I'd switch the Gone circle with the bottom Going circle, rotating this last one so that it's pointing down at the current photo at the bottom. I think this would help the flow of reading the three words in order and ending with your featured subject.
This cracks me up... I love the use of the 9 for a g! Very eclectic yet well put together. Nice ink work, distressing... hand written journaling. Totally fab!
Angela, this is absolutely rad! I love everything about it. It is an amazing response to the challenge! The pictures are adorable and the journaling warms my heart! I would not add or change anything! Superb!
How fun .. Angela I think this is a fave of mine of yours. Does that make sense? I love the pen on the photos, I love the navy, the title, the photo placement. The circles, the feel. No suggestions!
You did such a great job with the sketch! Great colors and great photos! Love the title and that you used one of the circles for journaling! Also, great use of the arrows!
I absolutely love the colors you used in this LO. They work perfectly with the pictures. Love the use of notebook paper to journal on.. You did an awesome job with the sketch.
This is awesomely adorable Angela, great interpretation of the sketch! I love the pics, the colors, pp, drawn "mattes" inside the pics & journaling. Love this, excellent job!!!
My response to Nitza's Scrap Happenzz challenge to follow this sketch: http://www.pencillines.com/2007/07/sketch-41.html Journaling reads: "Patrick, You are not a boy of half-ways. Crawl? No way; bum scoot or bust! Same with walking. Learn with shoes? No way! Sock feet & baggy snowpants for you. And, you did it! Feb. '06"
