Journaling: What a fun time we had playing around in the neighborhood. We walked to the end of adjoining cul-de-sac and you followed Jessi around watching what big girls do. Then you found your own fun. A little car just your size. You were delighted to explore every bit of how that car worked, opening and closing the door, climbing in backwards until you got the hang of it, pushing it around, pretending to steer. You are growing into a little boy so quickly and yet you look so serious here, which is not your usual smiley expression. It's clear to me that playing is a serious business for you!
