I used a wooden ruler with holes at each end as the anchor. I wrapped it in red ribbon and then stitched on flowers. I then slipped purple ribbon into the holes in the ruler and tied them up like a chain then stitched the ends using pink fiber which I decided to stitch throughout the purple ribbon.
