I had heard many good things about this trimmer and the selling feature for me was the no-sharpen blade. The blade is great even 2 years later. But. Mine cuts slightly crooked, and is most noticeable on the 12" long cuts. It seems to be the top plastic part where the issue is. I have made do and just make sure the paper is aligned to the grids and I have no problems with straight cuts then. The only trouble is when the cut I need to make doesn't fall on a solid grid line--so then I have to eyeball it a bit. I must have gotten good at that because as far as I can tell, my paper is always cut straight. I suppose I should have called MM, but I just never got around to it. I would have given this product 5 stars otherwise.
I came back to edit my review. The clear plastic piece has broken at the bottom and I'm done with not being able to use the top paper guide like it is meant to be used. I went back to my basic Fiskars trimmer until I find another one...
