    Disappointed (25 August 2022)

I'm so disappointed...that this is discontinued. It was an affordable and sturdy solution to the awkwardly-sized (for storing) 12x12 paper. I was a little surprised this came flat, but it's a great design and it was well-made. I had no trouble with the glue strip not sticking.

But now that I need another one, I can't get one and am going to have to resort to having my paper getting smashed up on a shelf because other 12x12 paper storage is so expensive. :(

  • So Versatile (15 May 2021)

I love these. I'm cutting them on a Platinum 6 with a Magic Mat and haven't had any issues with them not cutting through completely.

Because the ornament hanger is a separate piece, there actually isn't anything inherently Christmassy about most of the pieces in this set, so the circles alone (without the hanger/bow) can be used year-round. And this circle is just a little larger than the circles for the Art Studio Botanicals set, so it can be used with those drop-ins to give them a slightly wider border.

Not a Huge Fan of This Stamp (01 April 2021)

I said I'd recommend this product to a friend, but I'm really rather neutral on it.

The overall sentiments are lovely. It was created, obviously, with racial unity in mind, so of course it's good for that. Many of the elements have usefulness beyond that, too, though, for more general support of friends going through tough times. (There are a lot of reasons one might say, "I'm not okay.")

But...this is one of my most expensive stamp sets, and it's among my most mediocre in quality/performance. It peels & sticks just fine, and the solid bits give nice clean impressions. But the EDGES of these stamps are kind of rough or hit-or-miss. They don't give me the same clean, consistent impressions as my other pricey stamps -- or even some of my cheap, ordered-from-no-name-sources-in-China sets. I would have expected better from an expensive set from a name brand company like Hero Arts.

Still, the builder stamps for the clasped hands, in particular, are pretty unique, so it's worth investing in if you have use for that, despite the faults.
