A new use for Diamond Glaze! (05 August 2008)

Looks like everyone likes Diamond Glaze! Well, I have a new use for it! I traced letters from a milk carton and cut them out. I then used the diamond glaze to adhere them onto my page. Not new, you're thinking? The milk carton already has an icy look to it, so when you attach it with the glaze, it that variation of shades like ice has. And, it's recycling! It's hard to explain, but absolutely fabulous! I also have used it in bottle caps and plastic binding rings to give it that epoxy look and feel. You could even mix a little glitter in it and make it bling!

  • Lots of uses... (05 August 2008)

I used these on a layout of my blue eyed cat and love it! It is one of my favorite layouts. You can cut the circles into half circles, or use them whole. The center piece makes a really nice journaling block. I used several pieces on my layout and off set them. You can get several layouts out of one sheet! Works great for baby, beach, or everyday pages. I would love to see this sticker sheet come in many different colors.

  • Never ending staples! (05 August 2008)

I think these are a must have! I have both color packs and they last forever. I use it with my regular stapler only becuase it has a longer reach than the one it comes with in the set. The package is only a couple dollars and I am still on my first packages that were bought a couple years ago! I think I had even split the package with a fellow scrapper! I would love to see a neutral or pastel color pack come out. Don't foget...staples look really cool even stapled
    upside-down or criss-crossed!

  • Best page protectors ever made! (05 August 2008)

These page protectors are very strong and have a 1/2" stitched space between the page and holes. This allows the pages to lay flat when the pages are turned. Can't live without them!

  • Fabulous punch! (05 August 2008)

Even though these punches take up alot of space to store, they are very sturdy and easy to use. These punches are great for anyone that has little strength in their hand/wrist. It is difficult to find large punches and these do the job! I own the large circle and large scalloped oval and can't wait to get more!

  • My favorite album (05 August 2008)

I have used a couple different kinds of albums and I will never go back! This album is made with quality fabrics and page protectors. The pp's are true 12x12. Pages and refills both load easily. Refills and extenders are easy to come by. This line comes in several different colors and designs and even comes in leather. The price is very competitive to other brands.

  • Can't live without this book! (05 August 2008)

It has been out for a while, but it's a must have classic. Not only does Becky give many great layout designs, but several examples are created using that layout. These examples help show variations of the layout which helps you think outside the box when designing your own layout. Using the basic layout design, you can "tweak" the picture size, colors, or embellishments used. You can also add or delete things within the layout to match your level of ability.

  • Lovin' this pen!! (29 July 2008)

It seems to be very difficult to find a white pen that doesn't skip, actually shows up on your paper, writes clear and smoothe, and you don't have to go over it a hundred times to make it opaque! I really like the fine tip so I can journal or make accent marks/designs on my page. It also doesn't take forever to dry. I have tried several white pens and this one takes the cake!!

  • This product is very wishy washy (28 July 2008)

I am not sure if I like this product or not. I will recommend it just for the sake of trying something new. I was very excited to get it, because it is supposed to leave a bleached look and using this should be alot easier that messy bleach. Unfortunately, you never know what color it will turn your paper. Some papers don't even change color. I have had some success, and disappointment at other times. You must remember to test every paper you are going to use it on. Even different brands of black cardstock give different results. I do like the effect once I find the papers that work well with it. It is just not as versatile as I thought it would be.
