    More visual & collage goodness from Tim (09 April 2011)

    I was lucky enough to find this early on at a convention & snapped it up. As is always the case with his pads, you get a great assortment of intriguing images in a variety of sizes, so you don't have to slice up a whole page to use a small portion for collage or card-making. And, because the images are classic, they blended beautifully with other papers from my stash, including but not limited to his "Lost and Found" paper pad.

    Long story short, I had so much fun working with this that I stayed up all night to finish the project. Tim hit it out of the park again--this is what you get when artists make products for artists!


  • Taking Me to the Tropics! (26 January 2011)

    If you've got pictures from an island vacation--or, for that matter, anything bright and festive--waiting to be scrapped, this punch of color and shimmer is going to be your go-to friend. Uplifting color on a dreary winter day, when I first spritzed it, it made me nearly as giddy as its namesake would've! Treat yourself to some island time and try this not-quite-red, not-exactly-orange release from our Angel friends, and see for yourself how gorgeous it is against your other favorite summer shades.


  • Fun assortment for a cool technique (18 January 2011)

    I've been wanting to try masking for some time, but I didn't want the same ones I've been seeing everywhere. These were just the ticket, with the cool assortment of patterns. The mesh offers lots of options as it works on a masculine, grunge, or farm theme, and the splat pattern is just plain fun! I used them with Distress inks and Glimmer Mists, and they cleaned up easily after both. Recommend!


  • Spun Sugar--The Name Says It All! (13 January 2011)

    I'll admit, I love Stickles, and who doesn't love Tim Holtz? So I was thrilled to get a series of his new Distress Stickles for the holidays. I couldn't wait to try this one, it was so pretty even in the bottle! And it really delivered the exact look of spun sugar, glistening cotton candy, yummy super-sweet icing! And, talk about versatile--it dried to a nice, subtle, ballet-slipper tone in the areas where it was spread thinly. Stickles fans, especially girly girls, getcha' some of this color!
