Wow, Moi! This is scrapjackstic! I love all the personal touches: the freehand title and flourish, how the flourish continues onto the photo, your keen use of the slab cover sheet, file folder tab, and kitchen bowl to make the circle, the date stamp, the bling brads for flower centers, and your signature sage and lavender colors. That pic is absolutely adorable, too. Just to mix things up a bit, I notice your journaling occurs on three sections of the ring, and wonder how it would look if one of those sections was yellow and another blue... Also, I wonder how the ring would look with the scallops humped rather than inverted like waves... Just wondering. You did a great job on this challenge!
Absolutley love the circle, my favourite thing on the page, and the journaling looks great around it. And the squares of patterned paper look amazing. Might just have to scraplift it myself ;-)
This is wonderful!! That photo is too cute, as is the journaling about it! the colors look so nice together, and I love those flowers on there. this is really really nice!
So cute and, wow, I'm with the others on your freehanding (and I've done my share)! It took me a sec to figure out the journaling but it works. I love your choice of office supply--I swore by those tabs until I stepped out of the swivel chair for the last time! Love the borders on the paper & photo too.
oh, moi! I absolutely love this. Your freehand in the title is amazing. I love those swirls at the end. Love the bling too! looks great. I agree with tiff, and would wonder what it would look like if the edges were inked, however it looks amazing as is, too. Awesome job
This is so wonderfully pretty moi! You are awesome for freehanding those letters, & the swirly looks sensational! LOVE the pp, journaling, flowers & that precious friggin photo! Am also wonderin about what that circle is, it looks perfect. Super lift!! :)
Moi! I love this and I thank ya' kindly for mentioning that it was my great eye that helped you with this. :-) I was just in the right place at the right time. I love the cover sheet here. I love all the colors and the green complements it perfectly. I am dyin' to know about that circle. Is it a stencil, chipboard, doodle genie? It looks great. Okie dokie, She is such a cutie pie! Her sweet little face absolutely makes this LO fetching! I can't believe you free-handed the alphas! That looks better than the stamps woman! Superb! Lovin' the chipboard flowers with the bling and the bling, kwim! The only thing I could possibly suggest is to ink the outside edge with some of that Luminart powder, if possible. I think that would finish it off perfectly. However, I love it the way it is. You rock, Moi!
I didn't have the alpha stamp set so I had to free hand. The mica powder really shines and caused a glare in the photo, but IRL the word "kate" looks as outlined as the "hi" in the photo. The journaling reads: Whenever we walk by someone always says, Hi Kate!" and you always give a wave... even if you're taking a bath in Gram's kitchen sink!!
