I am always stumped with titles...only one I can think of is "Mastermind" and I already like "Piece of Me" better. The photo is gorgeous in B & W and a great choice for the embellies challenge. I, again, love what was done with them here--your treatment of the puzzle pieces, how you put the heart right over his, the scallop on the pp. Really nice heartfelt feel on this.
OOoooo pretty! I really like the placement of everything and how you used all of the kit. I agree about the inking and I am terrible with titles but I like pieces of me/you. Great Job!
This is such a lovely result of this embellie challenge! Love the placement of everything & how you cut the journaling plate down to suit your needs. I also like the "Piece of Me" or "A Piece of Me" idea, as well as the suggestion to ink the photo matte, to coordinate w/ the inked pieces. Awesome!
This is really nice! I don't know if you have any journaling on this or a complement page, but how about "pieces of you" for a title. Then you could journal about different "pieces" of him that you love, etc. Just an idea.
Great photo - I think I would put the two photo corners diagonally across from one another rather than on one side. I'd love to see inked edges on the cs and the pp block. (Do I recognize that bookplate? ;) ) Love the heart clip too - very cute.
Loving this Moi. You did a great job utilizing the kit. As for a title. Well, I'm terrible at titles so I'm probably the wrong person to ask, but I do like Brenda's pieces of me idea. I also agree with the inking that you should continue that on the mats.
I love what you've done with the kit! The photo is awesome. I like the distressed look of the pieces. The only new suggestion for a title is kind of long, "The man you've grown to be..." i really love Brendas "Piece of me" suggestion too.
I like (for a title) simply, "Cherish" as in, cherish the time you have together (because thats what it seems like you do, and what it looks like you're doing) I think I would ink the edges of all of the pp to make them pop like the puzzle pieces. I really like the way you added to bookplate and used the journaling block, but only a little piece of it. Way to utilize the materials! Love it.
Moi, great use of the elements. I especially like the double "matting", for lack of a better word, with the ribbon. Genius. I love some of the suggestions that Brenda has for the title. I really like A Piece of Me. I think that is poignant and catchy at the same time. My only suggestion for this, because I love it so, would be to continue that bold line that you have around the puzzle pieces and line around your picture and mattings. I just think that it would make them pop more. I love this, and am jonesing to get started on mine. Great job, Moi!
Ooh, you used less of the kit, and added your own frame thingy. Missing Piece. Pieced Together. A Piece of Me. My Problem Solver. Problem Solved. Puzzle Pro. I'll return when I have more ideas for titles and critiques.
HELP! I need a Title... Oldest son home from Navy. He's great at puzzles and can complete the Rubik's cube in under 60 seconds! I didn't use two of the puzzle pieces b/c they were corners and slimmer than the others. Everything else in the envie was utilized in one way or another.
