This lo was a lot of fun to put together... the photo was taken during our 2002 vacation in Cancun! George loves Coke, and I think the photo is so funny and cute because the Coke bottle is so prominent.
Journaling reads:
Another beautiful day in Cancun, and we were headed to Isla Mujeres for the day. It was a short boat trip from the mainland, and upon arrival, we stopped to rent a gold cart to be able to speed around the 5-mile long by half-mile wide island.
After a few hours of sightseeing, photo snapping and attempting to navigate the narrow one-way streets, we finally found our way to a local restaurant to grab a bite of lunch. Thirsty and hot, George's first words to the waiter were, "Coca-cola, por favor."
Just goes to show that even amidst the thrill of going to unfamiliar places and doing new things, sometimes there's nothing nicer than a familiar face.
The little dangly tags are supposed to represent all the "new and exciting" things about our trip... and the Coke bottle, well... something familiar!
The letters and background designs are MM foam stamps (in sb colors kit color Manila), the smaller letters are stamped using Hero Arts Printer's Type and brown pigment ink.
