These cards are a little more simplistic looking than what I usually make, but I like how they turned out.
I have the new ribbon cutting tool by Imaginisce so I wanted to make sure to add ribbons to this set of cards.
I stamped the graphics using a set of stamps by Inkadinkadoo ( I think that's who made the set...) as soon as I saw the set I knew I wanted to do this technique. I stamped each design a few times then embossed them in black.
After the embossing was set I colored them in using two different types of coloring tools: watercolor pencils, and Stampin' Up markers. I used a very small amount of water with the watercolor pencils so I wouldn't get the paper too wet.
After the pictures were dry I cut them out. The yellow and the green card have only two levels of the design - I did three levels on the purple card.
After all the coloring and cutting was done I returned to each card and took a few moments to pick what to put with each one.
The purple card was stamped with a background stamp by Prima.
The yellow card has just a polka dotted ribbon by Stampin' Up, but also has a "sunshine" tag made from a word sticker that was attached to some cardstock then cut out.
The green card has texture tape from Ranger, and two types of decorative adhesive paper from Anna Griffin, and then a "joy" word sticker added to the top.
Each card is finished off with some stickles.
I like these soooo much!!
