So funny! Chipper must have "said something nasty and snide to piss her off" because you know it is always the guy's fault when females "go nuts" like that.
wow, you put a lot of time into this but it was TOTALLY worth it: this RAWKS!!! Into my faves b/c now you know I HAVE to do my own version of (there's always plenty of kittie drama at my house! LOL)
Yes, I saw this tabloid at the store and I just can't believe it!!! :-D
Everything here is true, but, well, stretched - because it's a tabloid!
So, the following are the facts:
Back story: --Missy and Chipper are my 2 cats, brother and sister, who got along fine for about 3 or 4 years. Then, one day, Missy went NUTS out of nowhere (attacking and hissing at him) and we tried everything to see if they could be together again. But, they just can't. Because Missy will totally attack him if she ever sees him, they have lived separately in our house since 2003.
Missy: She didn't refuse anxiety meds...the vet gave us some and they just made her sleep all the time, so we quit giving them to her
Chipper: He was diagnosed in 2007 with diabetes. But he's not 'suffering' nor is he 'alone'
Magic: He is an unwanted visitor at our house! He sits on the front porch and makes both Missy and Chipper mad
Oreo: He was a neighborhood cat that I gave food to during college. The last time I ever saw him was two years ago, and I doubt I'll see him again because my college town was 2 hours away from my hometown. So, if he does 'come back' to where I lived at college, I'd never know since I'm no longer there!
Kay: She is Justin's cat, and YES, she does bite! She doesn't really like me
Garfield: I don't know, what IS the truth about Garfield?
I must say thank you to InDesign and 'Star' tabloid! --I LOVE InDesign! I couldn't have made this LO without it. I spent LOTS of time measuring, and that was only possible with InDesign. I also made a dummy LO of the magazine cover in InDesign first. And I made the bar code in InDesign, too. But I changed the top of the bar code; it says "Scrapbooked 2008" above the bars. (Where it would typically say the month and year of the issue date on a magazine.) --I used a copy of 'Star' tabloid for reference when making my tabloid. I used a mixture of Arial Black fonts and Trebuchet MS fonts; they looked like they matched the ones used on 'Star's' cover
***I should note: someone told me they thought this was an actual cork board. It's just a piece of 12x12 paper that looks like cork board!
Thanks for looking! The kitty drama continues! :-D
