I haven't written a poem in a very long time..but I wrote this one for my sweet grandson! It reads:
REFLECTIONS
" I wonder who that kid is?
Staring back at me?
I wonder what he's thinking?
And what he wants to be?
He's always here when I am.
And monkey's what he sees...
I wonder why he's so quiet?
Is it just to torment me?
I hope one day he'll talk to me
And play a game or two.
I wonder what he's thinking?
Don't you wonder, too?"
