Journalling on the left page:Musée d'Orsay was a former railroad station, Gare d'Orsay, that was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900.
From 1900-1939 the station was the head of the southwestern French railroad network, but it had become rundown and obsolete. It lay abandoned for close to forty years and was saved from demolition when it was classified a Historic Monument in 1978.
Ideas of converting the station into a museum had formed a few years previous to its turn of luck so it didn't take long to get the project going. During the conversion much of the buildings architecture was kept.
Now its a major art museum displaying a huge collection of works dating from 1848 - 1914."

I used a printed train paper from Blue Sky Designs from their Little Engine Collection called "Trains, Trains, Train" since I wanted to emphasize the museums history. And in keeping with the metal/iron age idea I used some miscellaneous hardware on the corner of the pocket.

Journalling on the right page: "When we got inside I was so deliriously happy! I was moved to tears!"
