Wow.....this one is really AMAZING Girl...I too luv the fish and bubbles and that fishing/dock print you added is brilliant....and glad your Dad didn't get a fine!!!
How lucky was he...it would have been funny if there was a fish on it!!! Love the little pearls to replicate bubbles...ingenius. Fantastic lo and story!!!
STUNNING!!!!! LOVE the green/blue colour combination and the embellies are so CUTE!!! It must be so much fun to have your mom to scrap with!!....to the favs! this is perfection!
LOL! What a great story! You definitely need to include it somewhere! This is such a lovely, serene page, and the dragonfly is a perfect fit! Love the fish, water swirls and lovely, watery textures and elements!
That's a great story! "Yeah...Ummmm...Just testing it.." LOL Love it - You can always put the story on the back of the layout. Thanks for the idea - I think I'm going to start doing that from now on! Glad you and your mom had some quality time scrappin'! Love the pic and the little fish with bubbles too - nice job!
I don't think Jackie will mind if you use the stamp, and yes I have ONE more dragonfly FOR ME...chuckle. You're welcome to the supplies. You know anything that's mine, is yours; well, almost anything. Love you.
Okay, Mom, I fixed the typo. Thanks for your accurate proofreading skills. It makes more sense now! (And to think I "proofread" it about three times!) Jackie gave you more than one dragonfly. You still have one or two more to use for yourself, so I don't feel guilty! LOL Oh, and I already have plans to use the cool new stamp that she gave you when we're scrapping at your place too.
Love the title and the way you curved it; also like the fish bubbles and the water. Seriously, he was testing the lure to see how it felt in the water. Sorry Jackie, she BEGGED me for the dragonfly.
This was a fairly quick layout that I did of my dad fishing. He loves to fish, as did his father, and my brother. How convenient that he now lives on a lake-front property!
What was "fishy" here is that he really was just testing out his line, but apparently, being out of province, he didn't have a fishing licence and an officer for natural resources was going to fine him just a minute or two after he dipped in his line. He said that he was just testing it but was about to be fined anyway. Then he began reeling in the fishing line and remembered that he was also testing his new lure! But it snagged on something and ripped off, so when he brought up the line, there was nothing on it. He said to the officer, "See, I was just testing it." The officer replied, "Oh, sorry, sir. Have a nice day." (I should have done journaling on this one, I know. I'll add it to the back of the layout.)
Thank-yous go out to my mom, "Quick Silver" and Anderjackie," who gave my mom the dragonfly. All of the supplies were from my mom while I spent some quality time with her scrapping at her house. Thanks, ladies!
