I love this page! I love the photos and the way they are arranged, the dots of paint in the upper right corner, the fantastic pleated flowers with button centers and the FUN of the title and the story behind the layout. My daughter has told me how the DSI is much better than the regular old DS, too!
Is that doodling stitching around the edges? Awesome! I really like the bling on the title, and the bright colors with the black and white photos. You realize I'm in the doodle challenge too, right? :)
I love the journaling, especially the part of all them coming to show you the games. Wonderfully written. NIce bright layout and love the flowers! Nice!
What a fantastic LO! I love that you explained everything about your LO! I do to love the thought of Christmas and I do occasionally shake the box with my name on it lol. But it's worth every cent when you see the kids open their presents!! I also love that even though it's from Christmas - it doesn't have the traditional colours!! Great job!

Everyone knows that Christmas is a time for giving, but we ALL like to be on the receiving end of that holiday magic as well. I am not ashamed at all to admit that I still get excited whenever I see a present with my name on it: and yes I’ll still shake the occasional gift to see if I can guess what’s inside! With this being my first official Christmas in Ohio for good I found that I was getting more enjoyment from watching my nieces and nephew open gifts that from anything else. I didn’t realize how much I had been missing all those years until I saw those excited, smiling faces just glowing with happiness. This years happiness was mainly centered around one particular item…the Nintendo DSi (I was politely informed by my niece Brooklynne that though it looks like the Nintendo DS, the DSi is a much more awesome thing). Now all three already had the actual DSi but there were new games tumbling out of boxes like candy. This is when I and my lap made a fatal error. I asked, as any loving and interested uncle would: “So, what games did you get?” Instantly my legs grew children! Brooklynne showed me how to make a lovely meat loaf, Emma gave me lessons on how to properly dress a model for the runway, and Caleb walked me through the dangers of the world of Mario. Even my little cousin Chase got involved in the DSi madness! I never thought that chaos could be so fulfilling, but having those children showing their uncle David all the things they got made any additional grey hairs I grew more than worth the while.
