Journaling: Week 12 March 18-24 2012
Besides a hiking adventure on Thursday this week was one of the most relaxing and uneventful we've had in quite some time. Every day I had to work was over quickly and painlessly, leaving me plenty of time to enjoy the warm and sunny weather that had moved into our area. I was also able to spend a lot of time talking to my big sister. She lives in Glendale, Arizona and with the time difference and our different work schedules it's not always easy to stay in touch. As we've gotten older it has become a lot easier to just be sisters and I look forward to each contact we have. Whether she calls me just to say hello, emailing me pictures of my beautiful niece Elizabeth, texting me about her interesting interactions at work or Facebooking me with, well, everything else happening 2000 miles away, the increased communication has made me appreciate my sister more now than ever before. I know I can't convince her to move closer to me in Ohio but I feel our lives becoming closer with each passing day.
