My lift for the Swirlydoos April Round Robin lift. Everything is from my kit with the exception of the yellow flowers and the die cut border.

My daughter just finished Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. We flew from OKC to attend, then took the day to travel to Beaufort, Laurel Bay, and Charleston. I grew up in Laurel Bay, so it was fun to get to go back and visit places from my childhood.

The title was the most complicated part. I painted the metal charms from my kit with the paint dauber, then covered them with Rock Candy crackle paint, and then inked them with weathered wood. Then I created a strip of cardstock with punched holes and hung the tags on it with jump rings.

I cut the decorative edge off the die cut paper, then glued it to a piece of black cardstock. I created a tri-mat frame for my single photo rather than cutting the picture apart. I like the way it looks with the mat over the pictures rather than the pictures on top of the mat.

The yellow stem flowers I got at Hobby Lobby last week, 50% off. I wanted some kind of floral stem, but everything I found was too heavy for this LO until I found these. I think they're perfect!

I cut the flowers off the bling swirl, and also altered the swirl so it would fit and frame the little bird better. I used the pieces I cut off of it in the centers of the flowers on the PP. I also stickled some of the flowers, and added some Diamond Glaze to the quote.

Thanks for looking, and I appreciate any comments!
