Tuesday, October 23, 2012 – Our hotel on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls was only a block and a half from the train station so we decided to get an early start and walk to the station. It was lightly raining and drizzly enough to get us soaked if we walked too slowly so we hurried and arrived by the tracks only slight damp.
It was still an hour before daybreak when boarded our train for Toronto. After an hour layover in Toronto we took another train to Montreal. We changed trains quickly in Montreal and boarded the final train which took us all the way to Quebec City.
We were very impressed with the trains – very neat, clean and comfortable. We had plenty of legroom and best of all the trains had WIFI – the seats were in groups of 4 with two facing the other two and a table in the middle so we were able to set up our computers on the table. A plug was even provided for each set of 4 seats!
We had an excellent day on the trains!
