I found this stamp in a Antique/Junk store and couldn't resist it because of the Sacred Heart appeal and the price.I wanted to continue the wood etching effect so used inks that would show off the wood like effect of the stamp and that you enhance the Madonna and Child Effect (Madonna and Child by Postmodern Design) Also used cuttlebug folder for wood grain effect and added DI inks(weathered wood and antique linen) for first one and then Brillance Cooper for second, black mat run thru cuttlebug and then a very heavy textured paper - distressed with black soot DI.I like the effect but am open to suggestion on different colors or wood grain effects.
