You know when you work on a page and give it your all and love all of it but one little part kind of it just doesn't sit right? You leave it thinking, “I have a million more layouts to finish, I am not going back and fixing or changing anything!” but then….It just keeps irking you. That was this journaling page. The story is my grandmothers story written on the back of the picture so it is special, but the way I did the typeset with the colors just seemed too bright. So I went back and changed it. I chalked the words with a mix of 3 colors from Stampin Up chalk. I am much happier and will be able to sleep now! I forgot to throw this in on the last post but my grandmother saved one of those curls. She had it color copied for me so I could use it in my layout but it just didn't look right. It looked like a big brown log sitting on my pretty pink page so I didn't use it.The cut up picture of her was hard enough to use let alone the single curl! Enjoy, if you look at both layouts let me know if you think the change is an improvement!
