My swap tag is the tag on the left (the other one is a little bit messy). I did the polished stone technique over a rub on, using alcohol inks. The blue pieces are more backgrounds that haven't become finished tags or cards.Techniques : Applied rub-on to glossy paper. Pounced on alcohol inks with a little copper mixative. Pounced again with blending solution. Attached bits of tissue tape, dream definition.Stamped fairy on back side of window plastic with archival ink. Painted wings with a brush dipped in pearl mixative, also on back/stamped side of plastic.Stamp : Fairy (All Night Media)Inks : Ranger Alcohol inks in Meadow, Citrus and Lettuce. Copper and Pearl mixatives and Blending Solution. Ranger Archival Jet Black.Rub-ons : Flowers and swirls (Basic Grey)Window Plastic : Gary M. Burlin & Co.Fibers : AdornamentsPearls and Gem : Stamping BellaAdhesives : Xyron and Diamond GlazeTissue Tape : Tim HoltzI folded the window plastic to the back and attached with sticky tape. Then I put manila tags through a xyron and attached the glossy paper tags. The second tag got attached kind of wonky. I added a little diamond glaze to help hold the acetate down, behind the flower center and behind the Fairy's head. The diamond glaze got kind of messy on the second tag too, therefore I'm trading the first tag (on the left). The gem and pearls were attached on top of the acetate and tag with diamond glaze. TFL!I used Stream, Slate and Eggplant inks on the blue pieces with pearl mixative and blending solution. Lots of layers as I probably went a little too far, then wiped off, pounced again, sprinkled with blending solution, pounced some more … you get the idea!
