I gave the one I made to my mom; since the first stamped square I used said "Love", I wrote "You" on the second stamped square, and "Mom" on the third square so that it could be read together as the cord was pulled for the waterfall. The last stamped square on my card was a pair of lips so I put a "XO" on that one. Mom liked it, and so did Aunt Ted.
This card was so much fun to make! My mom ("Quick Silver") organized a little surprise make-and-take waterfall card for me, since I was disappointed not to be able to attend Scrapfest this year and enjoy some make-and-take projects. And last year, I wasn't able to do the waterfall card make-and-take. How sweet of her, huh? She had all the elements cut and ready for me to put together when I got to her house. And I had choices of brads, stamps, inks, ribbon, etc., all laid out for me! The "waterfall" effect occurs when the bottom of the stamped area is pulled by the ribbon and then each layer of the stamps turn and "flow." Thank you, Mom!!! (She made one too. Check hers out, as well.)
THANK YOU TO MY MOM AND TO ALL WHO ENJOY THE "FLOW" OF THIS CARD! :)
