Riley is going to school for his Therapy Dog training. We go on Tuesday nights, until the middle of October at which point he'll be ready (I hope) to take his test.

He's already passed his CGC (canine good citizen), and he works at the OKC Metro Library in the Kids Read To Dogs program. He seems to really love that, so it kind of made sense to upgrade his certification and find him some other places where he can be helpful.

With his therapy certificate, he'll be permitted in hospitals, nursing homes, and schools. So pretty much anywhere a service dog can go.

That's him in front, facing the camera. And this is most of the dogs in his class. The dog on the left is his new friend Ranger, and the dog behind him is Sadie, whom he also likes. The rest of them are too enthusiastic to make him comfortable, so he avoids them whenever he can. He particularly dislikes the labradoodle. She's barely a year old, and she's big, noisy and busy. He likes dogs that are chill, like himself and Ranger.
