Homemade Apple Walnut Pie

This is my husband's die for pie. Yes, I actually roast walnuts and mini chop them, toss into a pie. He would rather have this pie, than anything else:) lol...

Every pie I make, I decorate and cut the crust into the filling design. This is my Rustic Crust:)
I love hands on with dough, I know it may sound silly to some but, it's absolutely comforting to me:) My grandmother was the same way!
