Fabulous colours, perfectly framed and soooo cute....He seems to be a very happy Christ-Moose. The embossed snowflakes look so delicate and add the perfect festive sparkle!
I don't normally comment on cards but I absolutely love yours. Being an ex-Alaskan, I still love mooses!!! :) The silver snowflakes made this so elegant. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of home.
I had a panel left over from my mica spray experimenting, this one is the only blue one I had. Decided to use it in a little snowy winter Merry Moose card. I sent out all my Christmas cards a week ago, so this one I left blank inside and just decorated with a couple of the trimmed strips from the panel for an any occasion winter card.
I popped the frame and the moose up with some Big Momma super thin foam tape from Simon Says Stamp for a little shadow dimension. The moose is quite often seen with a bridle, but he's a free spirit and opts just for some finery with his ascot and bell. I didn't want to cover up all the woodgrain look on his antlers, so I used versamark and then lightly sprinkled silver embossing powder and didn't completely coat them. I used a snowflake background stamp embossed in silver on the focal background. It sparkles fairly well with the mica sprays and embossing without being over the top.
Stampin' Up! Night of Navy and Smoky Slate cardstocks, Stitched Rectangles dies, Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray ink pads, Classic Label punch, and Basic Rhinestones used.
