My two favorite times of day are sun rise and sun set - the opening and closing points of a day in my life.

Sunrise is always full of promise, plans, and possibilities. Sunset is a time of reflection, regrets, and resolutions.

I always feel closest to my spiritual center during the sunrise - the day getting ready to unfold with limitless possibilities, and I always take a few minutes to center myself and have a moment with the Creator of the Universe. My prayer each morning is, "Dear God - place in my path the people I need and the ones who need me, and help me to recognize them when you put them in front of me."

Then I get suited up and get my day started.

My project for the AGC Weekly Challenge ~ Capture Your Life.

We were to take a photo from a randomly selected Capture Your 365 photo inspiration list, then select a winter color palette from Design Seeds. We also were to select a sketch from a given set.

We were also to "give up" products that we've been holding onto for special reason, using THIS layout as that special reason.

This photo -- it's been a while since I've taken one I like as much as this one. I took it the morning that the sun came out for the first time in over two weeks. I just happened to be walking through my kitchenette area at the perfect moment to step out on my back porch and snap this one with my cell phone.

Now that I've loaded it into my gallery, I see that it has some shine in the corner from the light source in the room. I'll have to rephotograph it in a more natural light and reload it up. ::sigh::
